Welcome to Poznań Bridge Club!
Established in 2021, we are now Poznań’s largest and most active bridge club, open to players at all levels. In 2024, we launched the first and only space in the city dedicated entirely to bridge, located at Grunwaldzka 41B/2.
We host regular weekly open tournaments, a local bridge league, as well as countless special events, both at our club and in other venues, and even outdoors! Regular updates are posted on our main page and social media.
We offer bridge classes for beginners and advanced players of all ages. Our first programme in English is about to begin – find more details below.
We are a member organization of the Polish Duplicate Bridge Association, and have partnered with the European Bridge League in the hosting of the 11th European Transnational Championships which took place in our city in 2025. Every year in May, we host the Poznan Bridge Congress, one of the oldest continuously-running competitions in Poland.
When to play – duplicate bridge tournaments in Poznań
This summer, there are even more occasions to play bridge in Poznań!
Check out our summer open-air tournaments, every Sunday in July and August (except for August 2), always starting at 3 PM:
July 5 at the Botanical Garden (PLN 45 per player, sign up here) July 12 at Rusałka (PLN 60 per player, sign up here)
July 19 at the Old Market Square (PLN 45 per player, sign up here) July 26 at Oaza – Strzeszynek (PLN 60 per player, sign up here)
August 9 at Oaza – Strzeszynek August 16 at the Old Market Square
August 23 at the Botanical Garden August 30 at… a surprise location, coming soon!
All locations are suitable for good and bad weather, so don’t worry about anything – just sign up using the respective links above (or by contacting us) by the Friday before each tournament, select your category (open, playing 24–28 boards, or beginner, with 14–18 boards), and come play!
The higher fee for some of the above tournaments includes coffee and cake (and water, of course!).
And if you’re just learning to play bridge, get a taste of the game at our Beginners’ Summer Tuesdays, from June 30 to September 8, starting at 6 PM, at Wojskowa 16.
There will be 12 boards per tournament, and the fee is PLN 35 per player. You don’t even have to come with a partner – an instructor from our club will make sure everyone is paired up. Plus, your 6 best results from the series will count toward your overall ranking, with prizes for the best players!
Our regular weekly tournaments continue through the summer, too!
We hope to play with you this summer, and as always, contact us with any questions!
We play every day (except some holidays) Monday to Thursday at 5:30 PM and on Saturdays at 11:00 AM. Please arrive before starting time to sign up – no preregistration necessary.
Tuesdays and Saturdays are geared towards beginners and returning players – we play fewer boards in a relaxed atmosphere, so you don’t have to worry about anything if you’re just starting out or your skills are a little rusty.
The other weekly tournaments are open to anyone and typically have 28 boards. It is best to come with a partner, but if you do not have one, contact us in advance and we’ll do our best to match you!
The fee is just PLN 30 per player (junior and senior discounts apply) on most days, PLN 36 for certain regular events such as the “remote Polish championship” played every second and fourth Monday of the month.
